Upsyde manage re-fit of GPS Producer 1 Jack up rig in Dubai World Drydocks

In January 2011, Upsyde were awarded a contract by COR Investments Corporation to project manage the complete reclassification works of a GPS Producer 1 (Mat Type Jack up Rig, Baker Marine BMC‐250‐MS) and transportation to the West coast of Peninsular Malaysia to receive process facilities for the SEPAT offshore early production system.

The major works completed by Upsyde included:
Delivery of MOPU from Port Rashid to DWD Fabrication & installation of Sub Sea Spacer Frame for Conductor Guides Replace, Supply & Return Diesel Lines Design and Install complete Cathodic Protection for Mat & Leg Internals Complete Refurbishment of Living Quarters Complete Refurbishment & Re‐Design of drainage system Overhauling of four Cummins auxiliary & one Emergency Generators, Megger readings of all rotary equipment Cleaning of Modification of LQ to accommodate a Prayer Room & larger Clinic 160T Hull Steel Renewals Replacement of entire supply and return water system with Stainless Steel Arrangement of OHT Heavy Lift Vessel to transfer Rig to Malaysia Liaise with Marine Warranty Surveyor for sea fastening.
